She will talk about her inspiration to create “statement art,” which calls out injustices of the past and present. Attendees will be treated to a walking tour of her exhibit at the Atherton Library called “Silent No More: The History of Anti-Asian Discrimination in the U.S.” If you like art and want to learn about the Chinese American experience in the U.S., this is the presentation for you. Looking for a fun and healthy way to connect with others? Join the Atherton Library's Walking Club and explore the scenic beauty of Holbrook Palmer Park while enjoying the fresh air and good company. Walking regularly offers numerous health benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, stronger bones, better balance, enhanced mood, and increased energy levels. This group is a great way to stay active, meet new friends, and discover the joy of walking together. Routes within the park are accessible and paced to accommodate all fitness levels. Comfortable shoes and a sense of adventure are all you need to participate! Special Walks – Every Third Friday! We’re excited to introduceSpecial Walks on the third Friday of every month! These outings will take us to scenic locations just a 15-minute drive fromthe Atherton Library, offering new trails and beautiful views. Visit our Walking Club Hub for more information and updates! The walking club will meet at the Jennings Pavilion at Holbrook Palmer Park. Let’s step into wellness together!
